Privacy Policy
Sudsy is a single-player game. There is no account, no login, and no way to send us your name, email address, or any other personal detail. This page explains the small amount of data the game does involve and who handles it.
Your game progress stays on your device
Everything you build in the game — your money, buildings, upgrades, crew, car collection and settings — is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad. It is not uploaded to us, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes your progress permanently; we hold no copy and cannot restore it.
What third parties collect
The game uses a small number of well-known services. We do not receive your personal information from any of them — we only see anonymous, aggregated totals.
| Service | What it is for | What it may collect |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Shows the optional reward videos you choose to watch, and occasional ads if you have not purchased the ad-free option. | Advertising identifier, device type, coarse location (country/region), and ad interaction data. |
| Google Firebase Analytics | Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that tell us which parts of the game people reach and where they get stuck, so we can improve it. | A random app instance identifier, device model, OS version, country, and in-game events such as "day finished" or "first building placed". |
| Apple App Store | Processes in-app purchases and validates them. | Purchase records. Apple handles payment; we never see your card details. |
Advertising and your choices
- Reward videos are always optional. Nothing in the game is locked behind watching an ad.
- On first launch, iOS asks whether Sudsy may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, you still get ads — they are simply less relevant. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- You can reset or disable your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent form before any personalised advertising is served, and you can change your choice later from the game's Settings screen.
- Buying the ad-free option removes banner and interstitial advertising.
Children
Sudsy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, contact us at the address below and we will look into it.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to export or delete. To remove the data held by the services above:
- Advertising data: reset your advertising identifier as described above.
- Analytics data: deleting the app stops all future collection; write to us and we will request deletion of any existing records tied to your app instance.
- Everything else: deleting the app removes your local save entirely.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or similar laws to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. Contact us and we will help.
Data retention and transfers
Local save data is kept on your device until you delete the app. Analytics and advertising records are retained by Google under its own retention schedules and may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's contractual safeguards.
Third-party policies
Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
